Molly Rowe and Beth Castantini lead Newburyport Girls to the playoffs

Newburyport girls had a great finish to the regular season winning there last 7 games including a huge upset of Pentucket and a 20 point win over Triton and winning the CAL division 2 championship. Warriors Molly Rowe and Beth Castantini were both big down the stretch. Beth had a 28 and 20 point game and Molly had a 20 and 18 point game. The 20 point game was against Pentucket including going 16-20 from the line. Newburyport finished 13-7 and now await the draws for the tournament. Beth was named to the All League team and Molly was named to the All Star team.
